Calculation of Speed using formula

Formula to find the speed

Speed = Distance/Time

= 60/12 = 5 km/h

Thus, speed = 5 km/h

Calculation of the distance in the given time using formula

Formula to find the distance

Distance = Speed × Time

= 5 km/h × 22 hour = 110 km

Thus, the distance covered in the given time = 110 km Answer

Method (2) Using Unitary Method

Calculation of the Distance using formula

Given,

Distance = 60 km

Time = 12 hour

Thus, distance covers in 22 hour = ?

∵ In 12 hours the distance covered = 60 km

∴ In 1 hour the distance covered = 60/12 km

= 60/12 × 22 km
